lyrics

Mother Earth has taken what's hers,
We've abused her for too long.
The river's running clear again,
And the skies are free of smog.
But the people, they are crumbling,
And there's nothing more to say.
So we sit and wait patiently for the
panic to fade.

Chorus:
There's a candle in the window somewhere shining,
And uncertainties each day have me pining.
Every dark and stormy cloud, has its silver lining,
But that doesn't mean it's not gonna rain.

Always thought I wasn't scared of dying,
Til death came knocking on my door,
Peeking in my windows, has me hiding and
praying on the floor.
Afraid to hug the people close to me whose
Same blood I share.
It's all for one, it's none for all, it's
chaos everywhere.

Chorus

So the planet takes a breath,
and keeps on breathing.
Deep and full, her lungs are
heavy heaving.
I guess the hardest thing of all
is leaving,
Days gone by behind.
